Edit By Nine is a women’s apparel company based in Los Angeles. Alongside designing and selling apparel, we build our own software, mobile apps and AI tools for consumer commerce, which we use to run our business and serve retailers and consumers.

MODO — our in-house cloud ERP

MODO is the enterprise platform our team built from the ground up. It manages inventory, sales orders, production, invoicing, shipping and customer accounts in one cloud system, and connects in real time to our own online store and the wholesale marketplaces we sell on. Trade show & digital line sheet apps

At trade shows, buyers browse our collection and place orders on an iPad app built on MODO. Digital line sheets are generated directly from live inventory, so buyers always see what is available.

AI-powered operations

We build and run our own AI agents and automation on top of MODO. They handle much of the routine work a back office normally does by hand, every day:

Order-to-invoice automation – orders from our online store and wholesale marketplaces are turned into invoices automatically, payments are processed, and shipping labels are bought and printed without manual data entry.
Cross-channel inventory sync – available stock is checked against every sales channel several times a day. Sold-out items are taken down, restocked items are put back up, and incoming stock is listed with the correct ship date.
Automatic product listing – when new styles are photographed, AI writes product descriptions and creates listings on our website and marketplaces from the photos and product data.
Shipping checks – before a label is printed, addresses, package weights and shipping methods are verified, and carrier invoices are audited for incorrect charges.
Alerts and reporting – our sales team gets automatic messages when an order needs action, and management receives daily and weekly sales, inventory and commission reports.
Daily health checks – a monitoring agent checks every automation each day and reports only the problems that need a person.
